When it was time, Bilbo passes the Ring of Power and his trusty sword to his cousin, Frodo Baggins. It is then up to Frodo and his chosen Fellowship of companions to cast the Ring of Power back into the fires of Mount Doom, where it was first forged, and destroy its evil presence, once and for all. Sting serves Frodo well on his harrowing journey through Middle-Earth. Stings blade glows when Orcs, the violent footsoldiers of the evil Sauron, are present. Engraved on the blade and cross guard are runes in the Elven language of Sindarin that say Maegnas aen estar nin dagnir in yngyl im which translates to Maegnas is my name, I am the spiders bane.
